Another sparkling line up of speakers talking about their passions. Audience have a chance to quiz them on their very singular passions. What will the talks be on tonight? Come down and experience the unique and utterly riveting Catalyst Club.
In March we had a talk from Serena Mitchell about a psychic, Sussex’s only female saint and a sheela-na-gig all connected to the same church near Seaford; I gave a talk about one of my favourite artists, Ivor Cutler and Iranian-born singer Avije gave a powerful talk about the oppression of women in Iran, shared with us her own history and treated us to her amazing voice at the end.
April’s Catalyst Club includes Ross Gurney Randall, photographer Colleen Slater and Hastings’ Johanna Wood (who in 2023, some will remember, gave a talk on the highs and lows of running an all-female swing band.)
There’ll be more short films, gorgeous sunsets guaranteed, and the sound of gently lapping waves in our new venue above the blue waters of Brighton.
