PHIL MANZANERAPhil Manzanera is a renowned musician and producer, best known as the lead guitarist with Roxy Music, which he joined in 1972. They recorded eight albums in ten years and their biggest songs include Love is the Drug, Virginia Plain and Dance Away. Songs Phil co-wrote with the group include Over You, a number 5 hit in 1980. Since his debut solo album, 1975’s Diamond Head, he released eight more. Among other production work, Phil co-produced Pink Floyd’s 2014 album, The Endless River, and David Gilmour’s last two solo albums, Rattle that Lock and On an Island. Other musicians that he worked with include Steve Winwood, Godley and Crème and Robert Wyatt.
MARTIN FRY Martin Fry co-founded the group ABC in 1980, becoming its lead singer and songwriter. They released their classic album, The Lexicon of Love in 1982, which included the hit singles The Look of Love, Poison Arrow and All of My Heart. It entered the UK chart at number one and was the year’s biggest-selling album. ABC’s other hit songs include When Smokey Sings, Tears are Not Enough and The Night You Murdered Love. They have toured extensively, playing a variety of shows, and released The Lexicon of Love II in 2016 to wide acclaim.
