Sammy Leighton Clay brings his new show to Latest Brighton.


Sammy will be joined by his immensely talented band on stage headed up by Luke Congdon for this brand new show featuring all new music from the songwriter, new covers and lots of vocal.

Influenced by soulful voices such as Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder and more modern artists like James Arthur, his vocal power, impressive range and emotive tones make him one of the best vocalists right now in any genre, pop or otherwise.

Sammy’s voice is undeniably beautiful and switches seamlessly between genres from rousing pop numbers to heart wrenching ballads.

After touring with world renowned Broadway and West End Superstar RAMIN KARIMLOO on his UK Tour, Sammy has been back on the road most recently selling out shows in Brighton , London, Manchester and Birmingham playing to his very loyal fan base.

His latest song “These Walls” will be out on all platforms by the end of 2019.

Sammy is currently working with renowned producer PAUL WHALLEY on his new single “Say Your in Love” a soul searching , powerful pop ballad.

Jam Brighton


Kids from the coolest music school in town present JAM BRIGHTON LIVE: a live music event showcasing young Brighton bands.

Band members range from 9 – 17 years old. They have all been tutored and brought together by Jam Brighton’s team of professional musicians to form 26 amazing acts.

There will be a mixture of covers and original songs from all genres of music, with the majority unveiling new compositions written especially for this show!

Jam Brighton is the city’s longest established rock school – nurturing young musicians and songwriting since 2001.

Bungarooshers! Please do come and visit us at The Latest Bar to celebrate some yuletide togetherness. Expect more toe tingling, upbeat, soultastic, moog-infused catchy originals from songwriting couple, Ben Jones and Matty Eeles (Alice Russell Band, 12 Stone Toddler, Jam Donut, Bloco Branco) We’ve got some new nuggets of musical truth to share with you as well as usual mix of soul, jazz, ska, funk, blues.

The Bungaroosh’s loosely held together bits of Rabble also consists of Rizzle Kicks’ drummer, Lewis Whittington, The Mummers +20 other bands’ bass Player, LIndsey Oliver, Don Bradman’s guitar strummer Tommo Clubley. Some very special guests might start popping up like last time to make the musical journey even more special.

I’m also excited to announce my Jam Donut collegues from our Ocean Room days ,16 years back, who are coming along to play eclectic wonders with live percussion. DJ Jack Hooker and live percussive Mr Tim ‘Bongos’ Mercer are regulars at Russ Drewbury’s Soulful Strut where they’re off to straight after this gig should we want an after party!

Let’s cement some good times with the last Bungaroosh gig of 2019!
