Nick Gillard

Nick Gillard was born in Brighton and became one of the world’s leading stunt performers and stunt coordinators for film and TV. His appearance will mark 25 years since the trilogy of Star Wars prequels that began with The Phantom Menace, for which he was its main stunt coordinator, including on the famous lightsabre fights. In a career that started in the seventies, Nick worked on five James Bond films, two Indiana Jones adventures and films such as Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow, Shaft, starring Samuel Jackson, the first three Superman films, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and Spielberg’s Empire of the Sun. He held the world record for longest fire stunt, alight without air for over two minutes on Alien 3 and he also worked on Aliens. Nick was Tom Cruise’s stunt double in Interview with the Vampire and Far and Away, as well as David Bowie’s stunt double in Jim Henson’s Labyrinth. His TV work includes Grace, Black Mirror, Spooks, Red Dwarf, Doctor Who, The Professionals and 85 episodes of The Bill

Zoe Lyons

Zoe Lyons is a renowned comedian based in Brighton. She entered the world of comedy in 2003, after training as an actress in London, and a year-later won in the second of the annual Funny Women awards. In 2007, her debut solo show, named Fight or Flight, was nominated for the best newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Zoe’s many TV appearances include Have I Got News for You, House of Games, QI and twenty episodes of Mock the Week. From 2021, she presented 55 episodes of the TV game show Lightning and last year, she took part on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. Zoe has also appeared on a number of comedy-related radio shows for the BBC. Her most recent tour, named Bald Ambition, due to contracting alopecia, ran for forty dates last year.
