Love Thy Neighbour presents

Surfbort, a four-piece punk band from Brooklyn, New York made up of David Head, Alex Kilgore, Sean Powell and led by Dani Miller, channels inspiration from the 80’s punk scene to produce rousing, explosive music.

Surfbort’s live experience is visceral and confrontational. Their feedback-strafed, guitar-shredding punk music says no to a digital age full of intolerance; they radiate love and friendship. All are welcome in the SURFBORT FREAK FAMILY!

Fresh off a tour with The Black Lips after playing this year’s Coachella, the band just released ‘Bort to Death’ a raw 4-track 7” on Hozac Records and “Romance” a dreamy 2-track flexi on Cult Records.

In the last three years they have supported acts such as The Dickies, Thee Oh Sees, Fat White Family, White Fang, Martin Rev, The Garden, Tijuana Panthers, The Mystery Lights, Tomorrows Tulips, Sunflower Bean, DIIV, GOGGS, The Dune Rats, Leftover Crack etc, Meatbodies, Ex-Cult, Hinds etc.
A favorite among local artists, it is no wonder when Julian Casablancas caught wind of the Surfbort’s electrifying energy, he signed them to Cult Records. Stay tuned for more from Cult Records and the band.

Action for Happiness

An evening devoted to celebrating diversity and to the joys of letting our own unique light shine.

Action for Happiness is a movement of people committed to building a happier and more caring society. We want to see a fundamentally different way of life – where people care less about what they can get just for themselves and more about the happiness of others. We share
evidence based actions and ideas to help people lead authentically happier lives, one of these being learning to accept and and embrace our own differences.

Artist Becky Edmunds revealed the story of how she discovery 50 years worth of one man’s extraordinary diaries in a street in Hove and turned them into a fascinating and ongoing film project.

While topics are never revealed until the night, for Valentine’s Day it’s just possible that there might be a nod to Cupid with one of our talks…

FEET have had quite the year. Coming out of the traps at a pace with their attention grabbing YALA Records debut 7″,Petty Thieving, the indie newcomers followed that with another much-praised release, Backseat Driver. Today, FEET announce their first national headline tour, taking their raucous live show on the road for 12 dates next year that kick off in Portsmouth on 27th February, finishing in Dublin March 15th. These will also be the first live appearances with new drummer Ben (formerly of Dead Pretties).
