DAVID ARNOLD

David Arnold is best known for James Bond, having composed the music for five of the films, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. His career as a composer began thirty years-ago, with the score for 1993’s The Young Americans, which featured Björk’s hit Play Dead, co-written and co-produced by him. Since then, David’s film work included the science fiction epics Stargate, Independence Day and Godzilla, Hot Fuzz, Made in Dagenham and Danny Boyle’s A Life Less Ordinary. He composed the music for television series’ such as Sherlock, Dracula and Good Omens. 1997 saw the release of Shaken and Stirred, with versions of Bond songs, which was a collaboration with Jarvis Cocker, Chrissie Hynde, Iggy Pop and others. In 2012, David was the London Olympics’ Musical Director.

 

SAFFRON SPRACKLING

Saffron Sprackling is the lead singer with Republica. Formed in 1994, they went on to become best known for the hit singles Ready to Go and Drop Dead Gorgeous, which were on the band’s first and self-titled album, initially released in 1996. The following year, Saffron performed on The Prodigy’s Fuel My Fire from their The Fat of the Land album. She also appeared on The Cure’s song Just Say Yes. Republica recently released their first new music in many years, the single New York, which is from their forthcoming album, Damaged Gods, due for release in the Spring of 2024.
